Bed linen is provided, so guests just need to bring towels.

Llangennith Beach is just 5 minutes away by car and is a favourite with surfers, walkers and anyone who loves a wide sandy beach. It is a brilliant backdrop for daytime hen activities, whether you book a surf session, plan a beach walk, organise a picnic or simply spend a slow afternoon by the sea.

For an easy local outing, Llangennith Village is around a 20-minute stroll away, mostly off-road, with a friendly pub for drinks or a relaxed meal. The coastal path is also close by, so the group can head out for scenic walks without needing to over-plan. The area is well suited to hens who like nature, views and a slower pace, with plenty of scope to dress things up back at the house in the evening.

Swansea is around 35 minutes away by car, giving you access to a livelier city day or night out if you want to mix countryside calm with bars, restaurants, shopping or nightlife. Having Swansea within reach means you can plan one bigger celebration meal or night out, then return to a quieter base on the Gower.

A car is recommended for making the most of the beaches, Swansea and the wider peninsula, especially if the group is bringing food, decorations or activity kit. Once you are at the house, the nearby pub walk, beach access by car and coastal routes make it easy to build a varied weekend without lots of complicated travel.
