What happens in a cocktail masterclass at The Drawing Rooms?
We host your class in a private space in our Georgian house on Union Passage - never in a busy public bar. Over 90 minutes you will make, shake and drink three cocktails of your choice from our menus, with games and plenty of fun along the way.
How much does a masterclass cost and what group sizes do you take?
For groups of 8 to 11 the class is £40 per person; for 12 to 30 people it is £35 per person. Classes run in two-hour slots, with the teaching lasting around 90 minutes.
When do the masterclasses run?
Our standard slots are 12-2pm, 2-4pm and 4-6pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and bespoke times are sometimes possible. Popular dates can book up well ahead, so it is worth enquiring early.
Do you welcome hen parties?
Yes - we host masterclasses every week for hen and birthday groups. Alongside cocktail making we also offer candle pouring, perfume making, gin tasting and wine tasting formats for groups.
Can we stay on after our class?
Yes. We are Bath's original piano bar, with live singalong piano sessions on Friday and Saturday nights, and hidden private karaoke rooms on our middle floor bookable for up to 24 people with four microphones and 30,000 songs. Our Saturday live bottomless brunch runs from 2pm too.

Late night stop over for £5 entry per person. Like going to someone’s house for a party. First room pianist’s singing was either off or the crowd was - some songs were rather depressing. Second room had better spirit which depends on the pianist’s choice of music. Overall depends on crowd and how inclusive the music.

Hired this venue for a prom. Couldn’t be a nicer group of people to work with before and on the night. The lovely Tom helped me with booking the amazing venue. Will and Carrie were the most amazing staff to have on the night. Helped me with set up - made event specific menus without me asking which was wonderful - were helping with any task small or big and were just genuinely the most lovely and fun people. And finally we had the amazing doorman Josh!!if you’re ever looking for a venue to hire, I could not recommend anywhere but here!! 10/10 all around

My bridesmaid booked this for my hen do and it was the best night we’ve had in years! The bar staff were amazing at setting up and organising our pre drinks, the piano player was absolutely amazing and would even learn songs for us on the spot! We’re all planning a reunion trip based on our night here!
