The setting works especially well for hen groups who want a rural celebration rather than a city-centre stay, while still having places to visit nearby.

Beverley, a picturesque market town with independent shops, bars, restaurants and a beautiful minster, is around 15 minutes away by car. It is a great choice for a daytime wander, brunch, cocktails or a relaxed evening out. Driffield is also close by for local amenities and a taste of East Yorkshire market town life.

If your group fancies sea air, the beaches of the Yorkshire coast are around 20 minutes away by car, making a coastal walk, fish and chips or beachside photo stop an easy addition to the itinerary. The Yorkshire Wolds also offer excellent walking and cycling routes nearby, so active hens can build in fresh-air time before returning for hot tub drinks and dinner.

As this is a countryside location, travelling by car or arranging taxis in advance is recommended, particularly for evenings out or group activities away from the property. Once you are on site, there is plenty to enjoy without needing to leave.
