There are eight en-suite bedrooms in the main house: four with super-king-size beds and four with king-size beds. The house has multiple kitchens across the property, giving the group plenty of flexibility. If you’re planning a big hen dinner, the two larger kitchens are positioned in or beside spacious dining areas, making it easy to host a shared meal for everyone. Location & getting around

The Colloquy is near Kington in Herefordshire, close to the Welsh border and within reach of Hay-on-Wye, Presteigne and Ludlow. This is countryside rather than city-centre nightlife, so it suits groups looking for privacy, scenery and activities over club-hopping. That said, the local towns are full of character: Hay-on-Wye is known for its bookshops and independent feel, Kington and Presteigne have chainstore-free high streets, and Ludlow is a favourite for food markets and restaurants.

Activities within a relaxed driving distance include go-karting, flying experiences, shooting, fishing, canoeing, golf, cycling, horse riding and hill walking. Offa’s Dyke and Hergest Ridge are excellent choices for a scenic group walk, while a nearby padel court can be booked via the Padel Mates app. In this part of Herefordshire, many activities are around 20–40 minutes away by car, so having drivers or arranging taxis in advance is recommended.
