There are 4 flexible bedrooms, which works well for mixed friendship groups. Downstairs, there is a twin room that can be made into a super-king if preferred. Upstairs, you will find two further twin rooms, one of which can also be zip-linked into a double, plus a spacious family room sleeping 4 with a bunk bed and two singles that can be joined to create another large bed. Bed linen is provided, so guests only need to bring towels.

With 3 contemporary bathrooms, getting ready as a group is much more manageable. There is a shower room upstairs, plus a ground floor wet room and an additional downstairs shower room, handy for post-beach rinses and pre-dinner prep.

The Chaffhouse is located in Llangennith on the Gower Peninsula, close to some of South Wales’ most beautiful beaches and walking routes. A friendly village pub is around a 20-minute stroll away, mostly off-road, so you can enjoy a relaxed lunch or evening drink without needing to drive. Llangennith Beach is about 5 minutes by car and is a favourite for surfing, beach walks and big sea views.

The Gower Coast Path is nearby for groups who want to add a scenic walk to the weekend, and there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities in the surrounding area. For a change of pace, Swansea is around 35 minutes away by car, offering restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife for a more upbeat day or evening out before returning to your countryside base.

Parking and transport arrangements should be planned in advance, particularly if the group wants to enjoy Swansea nightlife or visit multiple beaches.
