Frequently asked questions
What is Komedia Bath?
We are Bath's home of live entertainment at 22-23 Westgate Street, a comedy club and performance venue in the heart of the city. Comedy is our founding love: our Komedia Comedy Club runs every Saturday night, alongside a year-round programme of live music, cabaret and club nights in a beautiful old room built for a crowd that came to laugh together.
What happens at Komedia Comedy Club?
Every Saturday, doors at 6:30pm, four of the best acts on the UK and international stand-up circuit: three world-class comedians and a top-notch compere, the bill that has previously featured Romesh Ranganathan, Katherine Ryan and James Acaster before they were household names. Tickets start from just £16 (a £2 booking fee applies online), and for the ultimate Saturday night, add entry to The Big Disco after the comedy for just £2 more.
Can we book Komedia for a hen party group?
You are exactly who Saturday nights are for. Groups of 8 or more save £2 per ticket when you book in one transaction online, with your discount added during booking, and if the bride is celebrating a birthday, her ticket and a glass of prosecco are free: email us with proof of her birth date to book it. Seating for Comedy Club is allocated, so one group booking keeps the whole party together around the cabaret tables.
When should we arrive, and can we eat and drink there?
Doors open at 6:30pm for Comedy Club and the venue and bar open at least 30 minutes before every show; we advise arriving at least 30 minutes before the show starts to find your seats and get bar service in. There is a bar throughout the night; please note we no longer serve food at Saturday Comedy Clubs outside our special Christmas shows, so most hen parties dine in Bath first and make us the main event.
What else is on besides the Comedy Club?
Comedy anchors the week but the building never sits still: live gigs, cabaret, family shows and club nights that run to 3am fill the calendar, and many events offer concession tickets for students, NHS and emergency services staff and others; check the individual show page. If your hen weekend has two nights in Bath, there is a good chance we can fill both.
Where are you, and how do we book?
You will find us at 22-23 Westgate Street, Bath (BA1 1EP), in the centre of Bath. Book online at komediabath.co.uk, by phone on 01225 489070 (Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm), or in person at the box office. Saturday Comedy Club sells out, so book the group in well ahead.

We attended the themed bottomless brunch with his weekend, and the drinks were heavily diluted to the point the gin was unrecognisable, as was the vodka in the pre made jugs used to refill glasses. My food was unfortunately cold & I ate 20minutes after my table had finished eating. The entertainment was really good, but we were otherwise disappointed.

First time at your venue in my wheelchair and it was so easy. Met at the accessible entrance by lovely chap who directed me in. There were smiles everywhere and I felt very safe. Swedish lady explained Accessible seating, accessible bar and toilets. Glenn Tilbrook was amazing and I feel confident returning (even on my own). Thanks x
