Frequently asked questions
What experiences do you run?
We run Bristol street art experiences: the weekly Bristol Street Art Tour (Saturdays, and weekdays in school holidays), our Introducing Stencil Art spray sessions, graffiti and style-writing workshops, and private group experiences mixing tours and spray painting. Everything celebrates Bristol's street art and graffiti culture - the home of Banksy.
What happens at a spray session?
Our one-hour Introducing Stencil Art sessions (£20 per adult) use water-based spray paints and laser-cut stencils in our custom indoor facility at 80 Stokes Croft, by Banksy's Mild Mild West mural. After guidance and practice, everyone sprays a big A2 artwork to take home (extra artworks £5 each). No experience needed - we provide all materials and dust masks.
Can we book privately for a hen party?
Yes - hen and stag parties are one of our special-occasion specialities. We will build a private spray session or combined tour-and-spray event for your group; our education, corporate and celebration packages are fully customisable. Please don't block-book the public spray sessions for private events - contact us instead at [email protected].
How much does the street art tour cost?
Tour tickets are sold through our ticket site - follow the booking link on our tours page for current prices and dates. Spray session tickets are £20 for adults, with accompanying adults free where needed for younger participants.
Who are the sessions suitable for?
Everyone - our spray sessions were designed to be accessible to all ages and abilities, and accompanying parents, guardians or carers can attend free for younger children or anyone with additional needs. Just let us know so we can arrange seating.
Who runs Where The Wall?
We are Bristol's premier street art experience company, welcoming thousands of participants a year - from school groups to corporate teams (Red Bull, Sky, Dyson among them) and hen parties. Find us at Hamilton House, 80 Stokes Croft, Bristol BS1 3QY.

Just had a kids spray painting birthday party, fantastic fun loved by all. Staff were brilliant and the party room was perfect once the spraying session had finished. Highly recommended.

We did the introduction to stencil art and had an amazing time! We enjoyed learning about the history of the art and spraying techniques. The tubes protected all of our paintings too; there was no damage while they were in my checked luggage back to the US. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The Banksy out front was an added bonus. I appreciate the artists and how the city is now embracing the art form.

Absolutely amazing tour with John. With him being part of the scene from the beginning gave a real authentic, honest history into the culture of street art, the music scene and arts in Bristol. John was so engaging and passionate we could have stayed all day and listened. An absolute must when in Bristol. Thanks for such a great experience 🙏
