Anne’s place is just fantastic. Such a unique space with so many beautiful features. We loved the garden, gorgeous animals, homely feel, conservatory, piano, quirky rooms full of character. We stayed here for our sister's hen and we had such a great time - the house and garden were perfect and everyone really enjoyed themselves. It was very homely and Anne was so helpful before our stay and making sure that we had everything we needed. Horatio the great dane was a great addition too! Thanks Anne!

What a fabulous house, you couldn’t want for anything whilst staying here! Great hosts who were happy to answer any questions and provide all the information you could need and more. Comfortable beds, a huge pool (bigger than a lot of hotels I’ve stayed in!), a kitchen stocked with everything you could need and more, really warm (surprising for a huge, old house!), and set in stunning grounds. We were all really impressed with the standard of cleanliness, especially for such a huge property. Overall we had the best time as a group of 14 women on a hen do, and all want to arrange future stays with our children and extended families. Would recommend to anyone looking for a large and luxurious property. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our time at Observatory House - such a charming place with such character, such a warm and friendly family, such lovely pets, and such an accommodating approach. It was a lovely place for a relaxing and fun hen do (complete with games, our own dinner, and even the ability to screen the rugby world cup in the morning), and all 20 hens had a wonderful time. This is a truly unique, charming house in the heart of Bedford that is perfect for a hen do. Anne was incredibly helpful, quick in communication before the visit and then available for all manner of help during the visit.
