This place was perfect for a relaxing week while we were visiting family nearby. We saw deer, squirrels and lots of birds outside the patio door! We would stay again when we are back in Lancashire!Pool Hen House | Ribchester | Sleeps 2

Chose this lodge as it was in close proximity to where family reside in ribchester, lodge exactly as advertised, and offered everything required for a cosy stay. Would definitely book a return visit, and recommend to anyone wanting a location to relax and explore the local area.Pool Hen House | Ribchester | Sleeps 2
Ribchester Hen Party Houses: Frequently Asked Questions
Practical answers about booking, neighbourhoods, budgets and group fit for hen party houses in Ribchester.
Is Ribchester a good hen base?
Yes, if your bride wants Bowland drives, Preston thirty minutes away and quiet pub evenings by the Ribble rather than city-centre hen chaos.
What is Ribchester's Roman history?
Ribchester Roman Museum displays cavalry fort artefacts from Bremetennacum, with excavated remains in the village. Good for a cultured group hour before the pub.
Do we need a car?
Yes. Ribchester is rural Lancashire. Bowland villages and Preston need driving on narrow lanes, so confirm parking at your listing.
What is the Forest of Bowland?
Bowland is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty east of Ribchester with fells, drives and Chipping village tea rooms for a gentler group afternoon.
How far is Preston?
Preston is about twenty five minutes west for larger restaurants and station links if guests are arriving by train.
Are hen parties welcome in Ribchester?
On Hen Hideaways, yes. We only list houses that accept celebration groups. Ribchester works when you treat the garden as your main venue after the village pubs shut.
Ribchester or Clitheroe?
Clitheroe has a castle and more shops. Ribchester is Roman village quiet with river walks on the doorstep.
What is the one Ribchester booking mistake?
Assuming Bowland lanes suit a large minibus. Some fells roads are narrow and parking at trailheads is limited for big groups.
