Host, Debbie, was brilliant. This was the first time we'd used airbnb and managed to organise a party of 14 together! Debbie was brilliant at communicating both prior arrival and during our 2 night stay. She was very welcoming and extremely easy to talk to! The house was great for the mixed hen/stag party we had, brilliant kitchen for cooking copious amounts of bacon in the morning, great social dining space and a fun games room which got a lot of use. The bathrooms were also good, lovely hot showers and generally very spacious.The location was perfect, beautiful countryside in the Peaks but still very close to Sheffield city centre (only a very short taxi ride away) Debbie offers activities along with the accommodation, unfortunately we didn't book any but definitely would if booking again in the future! The pub down the road is also worth a visit if staying here, gorgeous country pub serving great pies and beer! We were met on arrival by Debbie, who couldn't have been more welcoming. The venue was spacious, lots of rooms for entertainment, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Great local walks and local pub. We felt right at home and would definitely stay again. WiFi wasn't great, but it worked well enough for us to do karaoke, so definitely no complaints! The kitchen came fully equipped. Ample visitor parking. Great instructions prior to our visit re how to get there and what outdoor activities were available. It is a working farm, with Debbie and Co pottering around - which was lovely. We were greeted by chickens, sheep, and horses, so we were in great company! We didn't feel a nuisance or like we were causing too much noise (being a Hen party, this was a bit of a worry), but we were made to feel very comfortable. We had an amazing time here as a large group of friends, it was a great price, great location and the activities organised through Debbie were fantastic! Debbie was amazing, she was very responsive prior to and throughout our stay. We had a stag here and it was fantastic. A really great space with lots of sleeping spaces, bathrooms, showers, kitchen amenities. Games room is brilliant. We had fun on the caving experience. And it was easy to get an uber from Sheffield back to the accommodation. Debbie was fantastic with us, very understanding and provided lots of useful advice too.
