Frequently asked questions

What is Splashdown Poole?

We are the South's favourite waterpark at Tower Park in Poole, home to 13 thrilling indoor and outdoor flume rides, from family favourites to the high-thrill Infinity, plus two splash zones for under 5s. For a hen party that wants adrenaline and laughter instead of the usual spa-and-cocktails itinerary, we are a classic splash-filled day out near Bournemouth.

How long can we stay, and how much does it cost?

You book a timed session: 2 hours for £20 per person or 3 hours for £23 per person, or a Sunset Splash ticket at £21 giving you up to 4 hours from 4pm on selected days. A £1.25 transaction fee applies per booking. Not every duration is available at every time of day, so please check the calendar for your date when you book.

Can we come as a hen party group?

Yes. Groups of 10 or more get discounted rates when booked at least 48 hours in advance: off-peak, a 2-hour session is £18.50 each for 10 to 19 people, £18 for 20 to 49 and £17.50 for 50 or more, with 3-hour and Sunset Splash rates on the same sliding scale, and one group leader free for every 20 paying visitors. Contact our groups coordinators on 01202 711570 to arrange it.

Do we have to book in advance?

Yes. All tickets must be booked online in advance; there are no on-the-door sales, and sessions are taken from a maximum allocation, so tickets are non-refundable. If your plans change, email us at least 24 hours ahead and we will consider moving your visit, or create an account when you book and you can change your own ticket up to 120 hours before your visit.

Are there any restrictions we should know about?

Riders must be at least 1 metre tall to ride the flumes and 1.2 metres for Infinity. We strongly recommend that flume riders have adequate swimming ability and feel confident in the water: some slides exit into deeper water (up to 2 metres at Infinity), while others empty into shallow catch trays that suit less confident swimmers. If in doubt, speak to a member of the team on the day.

Where are you, and when are you open?

You will find us at Tower Park, Poole (BH12 4NY), one of the South's premier leisure complexes, a short drive from Poole Quay and Bournemouth. We are open all year round, with indoor and outdoor rides (some slides open seasonally), so please check opening times for your date on our website and book your session before you travel.

Came to poole to Haven with my family, saw splash down on tik tok and booked tickets. Other than the small queue to get in and the not so great shower pressure, this waterpark was immense! Hardly waited for watersides and managed to all slides but 1 more than once in the 2 hour slot we had. Great variety of slides, we all had so much fun. Definitely recommend!

Visited at 2pm on 6th August 2026. Upon entering the place I thought it was going to be extremely busy with large ques. I was pleasantly suprised that although it was busy the ques were very good and got to ride many slides. The only ride that had a large que was the space bowl. I would say the slides are outdated and some are not brilliant but the place has a unique charm. Its reminds me of an ancient cistern. Its a bit like a labyrinth in a weird way. The flooring outside is very comfortable and the stairs are good on your feet. The building on the outside looks small but its much bigger inside. I think it could do with a deep clean in the changing rooms. I like how the place is very compact but there is alot squeezed in. This place could be amazing with some new slides and investment. There were some unruly older teenage lads mucking about and the lifeguards are not much older. I feel there needs to be a few enforcers to tell people off who think they can do what they want.

Had a recent visit to Splashdown and overall it was really enjoyable. There was a short wait to get in but other than that entry was straightforward. Although it was the summer holidays and was busy, it didn't seem like you were waiting around for ages to get onto a slide and the queueing was pretty painless. Changing facilities were a bit aged but were very clean and there were constantly people cleaning them. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
