Group of us stayed for weekend birthday celebrations- photos don’t do the place / surroundings justice. The house was perfect for a big group we had a ball. Great for cooking big meals to share plenty of room in big kitchen for everyone to be mooching around . Huge sitting room for us all to sit and watch the England game, patio with plenty of seating to sit outside and have food / drink . Take midge spray in summer ! We also did bring chairs for sitting in the gardens. Grounds are spectacular- very warm this weekend so we took advantage of the opportunity to swim and paddle in the river ( gorgeous) a short stroll away . Sarah and Henry very helpful and attentive . Perfect for us group of 14

On arriving at Crogen House to start our 50th celebration weekend, all fourteen members commented it was just as they imagined, a large comfortable house in a beautiful setting. The log burning fires gave it a very homely feeling There were many positive comments from family members. The grandchildren thought the house was fabulous for playing hide and seek and they also enjoyed the games room. One of the grandma’s fell in love with the Aga, it brought back childhood memories. Others said the atmosphere in the house was relaxing and tranquil. Some fit members of the party enjoyed playing tennis on the out door court. Sarah was very friendly and welcoming. It was obvious that Crogen House was very special to her. I must also thank Sarah for introducing us to Annabelle, who made an already wonderful weekend, into something vey special.

Absolutely stunning location and house. Extremely private, beautiful views all around. House was totally amazing and Sarah is very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our big group and will definitely be back in the future. Thank you very much for a fantastic stay.

We have just had a large family gathering to celebrate an 80th birthday staying at Crogen Coach House. This house was home away from home easily accommodating 15 of us. From the first contact with Sarah, the host, I knew I’d made the right choice of venue. She was incredibly helpful when it came to recommending local restaurants and extremely quick to respond to any other queries I had, even when she was away on holiday herself. She even took time to come over and meet us before we left to ensure we’d enjoyed our stay. The main reason for choosing Wales was to all do the Velocity Zip wire ride at Zip World. The house was just an hour away by car which was perfect for us. The rest of the time we played tennis on the gorgeous tennis court which was like a hidden gem and when the inevitable rain came we played table tennis inside instead. Can thoroughly recommend this house and Sarah as a wonderfully welcoming host. We hope to be back sometime in the future.

"Stayed here with a large group and it was perfect. Plenty of space, amazing views of the River Dee, and very comfortable beds. The biomass heating kept us toasty all night. A truly 5-star experience in a local village setting."

The place was better than described and the pictures don’t justify what a lovely place this is. We had the best time staying here and we can’t wait to come back, we will be booking soon. Sarah and Henry were extremely helpful and soo good with our children and dogs, none of us wanted to leave. Kids loved playing hide and seek in soo many rooms and tennis court was a bonus. Brilliant location in Wales and soo much to explore. Thank you for having us.
