It suits hen groups who actively want to disappear from the world for a weekend: cooking together, hot-tubbing in a cottage garden, and using Wells, Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury as day-trip anchors. Groups expecting a destination town with cafés and evening venues will be better served by Wells itself or by Bath.

East Horrington is best for very small groups (typically 4–10 people) whose ideal weekend is self-contained rural relaxation — long walks, good cooking, a hot tub and quiet evenings.
