The surrounding area also has a good selection of country pubs, many serving hearty food and hosting local music. This makes it possible to enjoy relaxed evenings close to the accommodation rather than arranging transport into a city.

Nearby Leek offers independent shops, markets and useful amenities for supplies or a leisurely wander between activities. Alton Towers and Peak Wildlife Park are also within reach for groups planning a bigger day out.

Free parking is available, making arrival straightforward for guests travelling by car. As this is a countryside location, it is sensible to arrange taxis or group transport in advance for evenings and activities beyond walking distance.
