Could not recommend this place enough! Absolutely stunning cottage in a beautiful location. All the rooms are beautifully styled and decorated which gave the place a unique and special feel to it. Plenty of space for us all to relax and socialise together. We particularly loved the fireplace and the hot tub! Absolutely spotless when we arrived it felt like a fairytale cottage so thank you so much for making my birthday celebrations so special. Especially loved the little touches like the welcome hamper. Would definitely stay again!
We booked this property for my Hen weekend, and couldn't be more thankful to the landlord for his accommodation. The hilled garden made our sportsday even funnier, and we didn't expect to find coffee, tea, milk and sugar upon arrival aswell as a handful of other essential around the property. The neighbours were lovely and helpful also.would highly recommend 👌 Thanks again for having us
Amazing property! I hired this for a hen do weekend and wow was it just perfect. All en-suite bedrooms is just ideal, loads of space, beautiful linen, towels, fully stocked kitchen with glasses, cutlery etc. to host a party, beautiful surroundings. Katy and Alice were just brilliant, really responsive all the time, I had lots of questions ahead of the weekend and Katy answered everything so quickly and helpfully. I would really recommend this property for a hen do or party weekend and the following suppliers were second to none:'DINE DIVINE' for all your food catering. We had a cold buffet, afternoontea and BBQ all delivered /cooked on the premises.'SWING DANCE COMPANY' Brooke delivered an excellent swing dancing class which everyone really enjoyed'TIPSY COCKTAIL COMPANY' for a cocktail masterclass after dinner. This was so entertaining and perfect for the hen do weekend'THE CRAFTY HEN' for a fabulous craft activity in the afternoon.'DJ Justin' to dance the night away. Thank you!!
We had a fabulous weekend celebrates a 60th birthday. Everything about the house suited our needs. Fantastic open plan kitchen with a large table for eating and games, cosy living room and comfortable and spacious bedrooms. Went to both local pubs which very welcoming. We hired the camper van which I am told was comfortable. Couldn’t have been better.
We stayed at Ozgur’s house for a hen do last weekend and had a great fab time. It was exactly what we needed. He was extremely responsive and friendly and the house was just as described. Perfect space for a large group of people - the kitchen/ dining room opening onto the garden was ideal. Kitchen was really well equiped which was helpful. Great location for doing wide range of things: 5 min drive (or 20 min walk) to the beach, 10 min drive to Poole park run (!!) and a 15 min drive into bournemouth. Thanks again Ozgur!
Ringwood Hen Party Houses: Frequently Asked Questions
Practical answers about booking, neighbourhoods, budgets and group fit for hen party houses in Ringwood.
Is Ringwood good for a hen weekend?
Yes, for groups who want a market town base, forest walks and optional Bournemouth nightlife. We would pick Bournemouth instead if the bride wants walkable clubs every night.
How far is Ringwood from Bournemouth nightlife?
About twenty minutes in light traffic, up to forty on a busy summer Saturday. Pre-book taxis or nominate drivers before a big night out. Ringwood pubs work for a lower-key evening when the bride wants forest calm.
Is Salisbury worth a day trip from Ringwood?
Salisbury Cathedral city is about thirty minutes north, with the spire, independent shops and a medieval centre. Stonehenge is nearby if your group wants prehistoric drama. Pair a New Forest morning with a Salisbury afternoon.
Do we need a car near Ringwood?
Most hen houses sit in villages like Poulner or along forest lanes, so yes. Ringwood itself is compact for supplies, but forest trails, coast trips and late Bournemouth returns all need wheels or a booked minibus.
What is the River Avon like around Ringwood?
It flows through the town centre and opens into the Avon Valley toward Christchurch. Riverside walks, fishing on some properties and kayaking at local centres give you outdoor options beyond the forest. Christchurch harbour is about eight miles east for a waterfront pub lunch.
Are hen parties welcome near Ringwood?
On Hen Hideaways, yes. We only list houses that accept celebration groups. Ringwood works when you treat the garden as your main venue and save Bournemouth for the one big night.
Ringwood or Ferndown for a hen base?
Both sit near the New Forest and Bournemouth. Ringwood feels more like a proper market town on the river. Ferndown is more suburban Dorset. Pick on house size, hot tub and sleep count, not the town name.
What is the one Ringwood booking mistake?
Assuming Bournemouth taxis will collect you from a forest lane at 2am. Book your minibus or sober-driver rota before anyone opens the group chat polls.
