Such a lovely weekend celebrating a friends hen do! The house was lovely, it was clean, inviting & had everything we needed. All of our questions were answered promptly- the hot tub was maintained daily, and they even got out some extra toilet roll when asked.
Highly recommend for a group holiday!
what an incredible place!
highly recommend, I booked this cottage for my hen do in december. Graham was really helpful and answered all my questions leading up to the date. The chapel is beautiful inside and the living social space is perfect for large gatherings.
it was really easy to find and did not require any single track lanes as lots of cottages do! there was a large driveway for everyone to park on and then the rooms were all spacious to sleep 16 of us. it didn't feel crammed and the beds were really comfortable. The house was immaculate and they had left us a welcome hamper to arrive to with wine and bread, biscuits coffee and tea. This was a really nice touch. The kitchen was really well equipped, I have stayed at mant hot tub lodges and it was the best for having all the amenities we needed. There was so much space for all our food and drink. It was very easy to decorate and as it was christmas they had the tree and fairy lights up with decorations
Staying at The Roundhouse is an absolute must.
It is in a great location, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so welcoming, helpful and accommodating.
We were left a card and some bubbly to congratulate us on our recent wedding which was a lovely personal touch.
We couldn’t recommend it enough and only wish that we could have stayed longer!
We stayed here for a weekend for a he party. It was exactly what we needed. A wonderful location as It’s so isolated with beautiful surroundings. The property itself is full of character and history. As we were a group of 12 there were plenty of things for all us. Some people could enjoy the hot tub and being outside by the fire pit while others stayed indoors to relax and play with the endless games that were left at the property. The chapel was clean and well presented. It provided a cosy and functional feel to it. The hosts were fantastic and their communication before, during and after our stay was brilliant as they always responded in a timely manner. We would all definitely recommend this property to others.
Torbay Hen Party Houses: Frequently Asked Questions
Practical answers about booking, neighbourhoods, budgets and group fit for hen party houses in Torbay.
Is Torbay good for a hen weekend?
Yes, for English Riviera beaches, harbour cocktails and lively Torquay nightlife. Palm trees and prom walks deliver holiday photos even when your house sits inland.
What is included in Torbay?
Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and villages such as Cockington and Babbacombe along twenty-two miles of south Devon coast. Agatha Christie country, Paignton Zoo and harbour boat trips are all within a short drive.
Where should we go out in Torbay?
Torquay harbourside has Revolution, cocktail bars and late clubs. Brixham adds Hennessey's and Liberty for smarter drinks. Book a harbour restaurant before you hit the dance floors.
What daytime activities suit Torbay hens?
RIB rides from Torquay, paddleboarding, Paignton Pier amusements, coasteering with local providers, or a spa morning at a bay hotel. Living Coasts has closed, so check current attractions before you build the itinerary.
Do we need a car in Torbay?
Torquay centre can work on foot for some groups, but hen houses often sit outside the bay with parking and hot tubs. Plan taxis along the coast road if you split between Paignton beaches and Torquay bars.
Are hen parties welcome in Torbay?
On Hen Hideaways, yes. We list hen-friendly houses. Pre-drink at the house, then take the chaos into Torquay harbour rather than trying to recreate a club in the kitchen.
Torbay, Newquay or Bournemouth?
Torbay is warmer, palmier and more Agatha Christie than Newquay's surf scene. Bournemouth is busier and easier from London. Match the coast to whether you want palms or party strips.
How far ahead should we book in Torbay?
Summer weekends and bank holidays sell English Riviera houses early. Message owners before you lock harbour restaurants and RIB trips.
